Enkoji is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect, nestled in the quiet village of Tsuji, Gotsu City, Shimane Prefecture. The temple grounds, washed by the morning light, change their expression with each season and gently accompany all who visit.
Everyone is welcome to come and pray.

Autumn Ceremony 2026
November 3 — 19:00
A special annual ceremony held from dusk into the night, featuring the reading of the Great Wisdom Sutra (Daihannya-kyo), the Saito Goma fire ritual, and fire-walking. Local residents and visitors from afar are equally welcome.
A Goma fire prayer is held at 7:00 PM on the 28th of every month. Everyone is welcome — please come along.
